I am Clifford Sage a recent graduate from the Royal college of Art in Communication Art & Design, specializing in 3D Computer aided design in the field of motion image.
My interests lie in the use of computer game engines and how these applications will increasingly become more accessible and powerful, for the way we continue to communicate through digital interfaces.

As a self tort 3D artist working in the field of motion image, I have managed to realises the amount of creative freedom computer technology can bring allowing us to communicate subjects in multiple ways.
I am currently interested in how the technology we use is based on a knowledge of reality that doesn't make sense and in most cases may never. So there for feel the medium in witch I use is constantly evolving.

I have also been making music and soundscapes over the last decade under the alias recsund. A lot of the visual work I create is in response to my musical endeavours. Also in the world of sound I am part of two band duos Communicvoid and Deece.
Communicvoid is in partnership with Iain Ball in other words musician and artist Productlanceevol. Iain and me formed Communicvoid back in 2003 and ever since then have had a huge response covering over twelve releases. Success as of the hit single compression pads [2007] and the famous family fun series [2005]. As Iain states in wire magazine “we have always tried to strive obove the rest , bringing a true sense freedom into our live performances”.

In 2005 during the late winter nights of graphic arts at Liverpool John Moores University Greg Paul [also known as the Courier] and I became Deece. A much more systematic sound apposed to Communicvoid toad in we found that playing every thing in the sequence of ten creates a rather nostalgic but simulationsly welcoming aura.

Recsund started in 2001with the realisation that windows was equipped with a audio recording program called sound recorder, thus naming my self as rec sund. rec obviously being short for just record and sund being abbreviation of the word sun and sound together. The first album No Revert was entirely made on sound recorder and was named no revert because I didn’t even know it meant edit undo, so I never used it. The sounds where a mix of the windows sounds, mic and Dictaphone tape recordings, this method continues on but more synth based now.
Over the last nine years I have completed fifty four releases and one of the main drives in doing so was that each album had a different technical approach from the one before this equating to a different sound each time [well as I hopped for].
I suppose also a big part of creating sound is that it’s another way of communicating, sharing opinions and expressions. It’s kind of like a subconscious diary, for this is why I share my produce for free. Due it is something we all can do and for this I don’t see why I would stop making sounds.
My main aim now is to try and master an entire album completely within a 3D computer game environment. This will equate to a full on stereo experience within a fully animated world of synched visuals and landscapes creating a massive amount of audio perspectives in real time and out.
